公民教育——高校思想政治教育的历史转型

摘要:

公民教育理论与实践在西方国家已经趋于成熟,而在我国则相对滞后,这已经影响并制约着社会主义现代化进程。在高校引入“公民”、“公民意识”和“公民教育”概念,既是对高校思想政治教育的完善与创新,也是思想政治教育顺应时代发展的重要历史转型。当然,公民教育并非凭空产生,需要科学界定若干关系,并积极探索有效的实施途径。

Abstract:

Civic education theory and practice have become more and more mature in western countries, but relatively backward in our country, which has already affected and restricted our socialist modernization drive. Introduction of such conceptions as "citizen", "civic awareness", and "civic education" can not only improve and renovate the ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning but also enable the ideological and political education to conform to the important historic transitory period in the development of the times. Civic education, of course, cannot be formed without any foundation. We not only need science to determine several relations, but actively probe into an effective way of implementation as well.
